Verdict

An interesting renewal with Sir Mark Prescott's BORN RULER narrowly selected to come out on top. Seemingly having a hopeless task from his position when fourth in last month's Zetland Gold Cup, he almost certainly remains in good form and the booking of Gina Andrews very much catches the eye. Maghlaak, for the trainer/jockey combination who won this 2 years ago, may emerge as the chief threat. Chillingham and My Dream World are others well worthy of a second look.

  1. BORN RULER
  2. MAGHLAAK
  3. CHILLINGHAM (IRE)
